According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Fox News citing sources, U.S. Vice President Mike Pence is seeking to build a “new right-wing alliance” with voters who are dissatisfied with Donald Trump before the 2028 election cycle. Following the Republican Party’s disastrous midterms, Pence published a lengthy statement on Wednesday morning local time, expressing different views from Trump on issues such as foreign policy and U.S.-Israel relations. A source revealed that a meeting was held at the White House on Wednesday morning with the aim of ensuring that government officials maintain a unified message after the midterms. Pence previously posted that, “The reason we lost is this war.” “The president himself said the same thing last night,” Pence stated in his post. In the post, Pence mentioned that a poll expert listed four tasks that could bring voters back to the Republican Party: ending the war, focusing on cost of living and inflation, putting America first, and changing our relationship with Israel. In September, Pence stated that he would not refer to the conflict with Iran as a “war.” A government official said that these four tasks represent Pence’s call to action for a “new right-wing” movement. The official noted that Pence’s stance is not to go against Trump; rather, it is intended to send a clear signal to those Republicans who support Trump but have objections to his foreign policy or feel betrayed, that “Pence is one of us.”
