According to CoinMeta, a research team from the University of Science and Technology of China has released an open-source ribonucleic acid (RNA) sequence-based model called StructRFM. This model has improved performance in downstream tasks such as RNA structure prediction and functional inference, and is expected to contribute to artificial intelligence-driven scientific research, understanding of biological mechanisms, and drug discovery. The relevant research findings were published in the international academic journal Nature on November 5th.
