According to CoinMeta, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released a notice on the quality of telecommunications services for the third quarter of 2026. A total of 42 batches of technical inspections were conducted under the APP initiative, resulting in 967 products being ordered to make corrections, 163 products being publicly criticized, and 72 products being taken off the market. The compliance rate of APP products on the market increased by 1.3 percentage points compared to the previous period, with platforms such as App Store, Honor App Store, Xiaomi App Store, and Baidu Mobile Assistant ranking among the top in compliance. In addition, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a group standard titled "Technical Requirements for Accessible Service Safety Management and Use," which clarifies the requirements for information disclosure, feature configuration, and permission requests when APP calls for accessible services, and also sets norms for security management aspects such as terminal authorization management and risk warnings. At the same time, a "Self-Discipline Convention on Personal Information Protection for Intelligent Entities" was organized and published, encouraging more than 30 industry companies to sign and implement it.
