According to CoinMeta, as reported by Cailian News, the French mutual credit bank Akia Bank announced on November 4th that it had suffered a cyberattack, and some of the stolen funds have been intercepted. Hackers accessed the bank accounts and transferred money to other banks, after which the stolen funds were exchanged for cryptocurrencies through a specialized platform. The bank has taken measures to recover the remaining funds, and customer funds have not been lost.
