According to CoinMeta, the world's first bionic humanoid robot news anchor was officially unveiled on November 5th at the 7th World Media Summit's Artificial Intelligence and Chinese Modernization Forum. This achievement marks the transition of the innovative communication model of "authoritative information + embodied intelligence" from theoretical conception to practical application, providing a new paradigm for news dissemination in the era of artificial intelligence. The robots, named "Xinyan" and "Xinyu," were jointly developed by Xinhua News Agency and UBTEK, with Chinese director Zhang Yimou serving as the chief creative designer for their appearance. Both robot news anchors are created to fit news reporting scenarios and are replicated at a 1:1 scale of real humans, possessing the capability to appear live on stage for broadcasts.
