According to CoinMeta, Bitcoin ($BTC) tumbled 5% on Thursday, falling to around $76,500. In addition, Ethereum ($ETH), XRP, and Doge Coin ($DOGE) also saw declines. This wave of cryptocurrency selling triggered nearly $838 million in liquidations within 24 hours, with more than 166,000 traders' positions being cleared.
