Hagelseth released a video on social media, accusing Republican Representative Thomas Massie and his Democratic allies of proposing impeachment articles without any basis, calling these actions political attacks aimed at personal gain, and stating that such tactics would not be effective against him. Massie first proposed impeachment articles against Hagelseth in September this year and stated that he would reinstate the impeachment efforts unless Hagelseth resigned.
