According to CoinMeta, Qiu Runhua, the Director of the Economic and Technological Development Bureau of the Macau Special Administrative Region Government, Cheng Weidong, the Acting Director of the Tourism Bureau, and Leung Wah Fung, the Acting Chairman of the Investment Promotion Bureau, were interviewed today (the 6th) to review with the public the annual policy efforts of the Special Administrative Region Government in attracting tourists and revitalizing the community economy. Since the beginning of this year, the Economic and Financial Affairs Bureau has followed a "1+4" strategy for moderate economic diversification, organically combining the expansion of diverse tourist sources with the revitalization of the community economy. Through cross-departmental collaboration and government-enterprise partnerships, it has promoted the benefits of tourism to extend beyond the core tourist areas to business districts in all regions, supporting small and medium-sized local businesses to share in the development outcomes. Qiu Runhua stated that the Special Administrative Region Government has successively launched two major consumer promotion activities: "2026 Community Consumption Awards" and "2026 Community Consumption Series Rewards," further expanding consumer spending to different industries in Macau and creating a synergistic effect of community consumption.
