According to CoinMeta, a preliminary survey by the University of Michigan indicates that the U.S. Consumer Confidence Index has rebounded slightly by about 6%. Although confidence among consumers with low and moderate wealth has increased, confidence among high-wealth consumers who hold a large amount of stocks has actually decreased by 5%. Approximately 57% of respondents mentioned that high prices have eroded their standard of living, and cost of living remains the most concerning issue for consumers. Expectations for inflation over the next year have dropped from 4.7% last month to 4.3%, but they are still higher than the 3.4% level before the Iran conflict.
