Solana has announced the first batch of speakers and conference themes for its annual flagship event, Breakpoint 2026. The event will take place from November 15th to 17th at the London Olympia Exhibition Centre, marking the first time that Breakpoint is held in the UK.

The organizers expect that more than 8,000 participants from over 100 countries will attend at that time, covering developers, founders, investment institutions, financial firms, policymakers, and content creators. The theme of the conference is set as “Token Supercycle”, with a focus on discussing the trend of financial assets, payments, and more economic activities moving onto the blockchain.

Agenda focuses on stablecoins and tokenized assets

According to the schedule, the theme for the first day is “The Supercycle, Today”, which will focus on discussing asset categories that have already entered the blockchain network, including stablecoins, payments, and the tokenization of real-world assets. The theme for the second day is “The Supercycle, Tomorrow”, and the discussion will extend to AI agents, predictive markets, consumer-grade applications, and new ownership models.

Solana disclosed a number of online data points before the meeting, attempting to illustrate its expansion speed in the relevant field. The text states that Solana currently processes over 50% of blockchain transactions, and in July, the number of non-voting transactions reached a new high of 4.2 billion per month.

In terms of stablecoins and on-chain assets, Solana indicates that in 2026, the trading volume of stablecoins on this network exceeded 4.7 trillion US dollars, and the scale of on-chain real-world assets surpassed 4 billion US dollars, of which approximately 486 million US dollars came from tokenized stocks.

The first batch of guests covers payments and traditional finance.

The first batch of announced speakers includes MoneyGram CEO, Annabel Spring CEO, Bridge and Open Standard CEO, Zach Abrams CEO, Real Vision CEO, Raoul Pal, as well as Solana Labs CEO and Co-Founder, Anatoly Yakovenko, and Solana Foundation President, Lily Liu.

In addition, the organizers stated that in the coming months, they will continue to announce more guest lists from financial institutions, technology companies, payment enterprises, government departments, and investment firms. The overall plan indicates that Solana aims to expand the conference topics from native encrypted applications to the global capital market infrastructure.

London becomes the first host city in the UK

The main reason for choosing London as the host city for this Breakpoint is its status as an international financial center. Organizers believe that London connects banks, asset management institutions, family offices, hedge funds, insurance companies, and legal service networks in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and other regions, making it suitable for attracting traditional financial participants and policy makers to attend.

In addition to the main venue, a series of ecological activities such as Solana Hacker House London Edition, Scale, or, Die, and BlockZero will also be held during this conference. It is mentioned that following the release of over 75 products during Breakpoint in 2025, the London event will continue to undertake the release of ecological projects and cooperation exchanges.
