Automated system designed for the needs of fashion retail
This automated system provides 1.4 million automatic high-position storage slots and achieves a 99% increase in measured efficiency. This system is not intended to replace human labor; rather, it combines automation with skilled human supervision to reduce repetitive manual handling and long-distance walking, allowing employees to focus on monitoring and exception handling. This helps to improve working conditions and also enhances operational capabilities in robot management and troubleshooting. In addition, the Geekplus advanced operating system supports the LPP Logistics in continuously tracking and controlling the flow of goods.
At the two sites of LPP Logistics, robots from Geekplus work together to efficiently store and transport a wide range of fashion products. Over 1,600 autonomous robots operate between shelves and workstations, supporting hundreds of thousands of storage locations and turnover boxes.
This solution also maximizes the use of vertical space in the warehouse, with a storage height of approximately 12 meters.
At these two locations, the solution has helped LPP Logistics to maximize warehouse height and flexibility while maintaining throughput performance, in order to accommodate a wide range of retail SKU and pallet-based processes. It supports daily retail fulfillment and allows for a more agile response to seasonal fluctuations.
Performance platform that can be extended together with LPP Logistics
Scalability is at the core of this project. The design of the Geekplus system enables LPP Logistics to gradually increase the capacity of robots, workstations, and overall throughput in response to seasonal peaks, changes in storage requirements, and growth in SKU.
The Geekplus robot management system is capable of unified scheduling for large-scale robot fleets, supporting over 1,000 robots at a single site. This is crucial for maintaining operational continuity during warehouse expansion; in the retail environment, flexibility and reliability directly affect customer service and business performance, which is particularly important.
