IT News on October 3rd: Technology media Android Headline reported yesterday (October 2nd) that Google has pushed Android 17.1 updates to its Pixel 6a to Pixel 11 series of smartphones, with a focus on improving system stability.
IT Note: QPR refers to the quarterly platform release versions from Google, which are launched every three months. Android represents system updates that include security patches, bug fixes, and minor feature optimizations. QPR3 denotes the third quarterly update of the year, and typically, beta versions are prioritized for distribution to Pixel devices.

In terms of versions, Google has pushed the DP11.260918.005 version update to the Pixel 11 series phones, and the DP11.260918.006 version to other models, covering the Pixel 6a, 7, 8, 9, 10 models as well as the Pixel Tablet product line.
In terms of fixes, this update addresses the issue where the device would become completely stuck after unlocking with the fingerprint sensor, and also resolves the crash that occurred when switching the "eye-open unlocking" setting during facial unlocking.
In terms of connectivity, the patch fixes issues such as cellular network service loss caused by a modem crash loop, silent shutdown of the eSIM configuration file, and failure to reconnect in the background with Wi-Fi.
When using video call applications in desktop mode with an external monitor, the issue of the screen rotating 90 degrees no longer occurs, and the screen recording function no longer disables the front-facing camera. In terms of media playback, issues such as abnormal audio output switching, LHDC v5 device Bluetooth disconnection, and MediaPlayer crashes caused by non-ASCII tags have been fixed.

This update also fixes the crash issue that occurred when launching applications from the quick settings tile, and resolves the problem of "application unresponsive" during startup.
In terms of the interface, the update fixed display issues such as misaligned dots on mobile data icons, abnormal spacing between application menus, blank previews of recently used apps, and vulnerabilities in the home screen navigation.
