Yorkville, Illinois, October 5th / PRNewswire / -- AGCO ( NYSE : AGCO ) is holding its annual Tech Day near Yorkville, Illinois, on the outskirts of Chicago, at the Stewart Farms. This event showcases autonomous driving, artificial intelligence ( AI ), and hybrid fleet connectivity technologies. These technologies are being unveiled during the autumn harvest season with the aim of helping farmers increase productivity, improve efficiency, and enhance profitability throughout the entire crop cycle.

"What farmers consider when judging a technology is the returns it brings, not what it promises," said AGCO, Chairman, President, and CEO of Eric Hansotia. "At Tech Day, we are demonstrating autonomous driving, AI, and connected solutions in the actual working environment of farmers every day, helping them to obtain more value from each field operation."

The PTx ® Precision Agriculture Solution from AGCO is designed to operate across different brands and models, and reaches farmers through specialized technical channels to accelerate adoption rates. By collaborating with professional PTx distributors, AGCO machinery dealers, and OEM partners, AGCO can provide modification and original installation solutions to help farmers connect their mixed fleets, leverage data, and extract more value from their existing equipment.

Throughout the entire event, AGCO will demonstrate how interconnected technologies work together in every stage, from planning and sowing to crop protection, harvesting, and service support:

  • Farm Management:PTx FarmENGAGE ™ connects mixed fleets through a unified digital platform, while the Panorama ® intelligent platform transforms machine and agronomic data into actionable insights.
  • Aurora ™:The AI assistant running within Panorama allows farmers to ask questions verbally or via text, and they can quickly obtain the necessary maps, reports, and insights to make more informed decisions.
  • Sowing:Momentum ® seeders, ArrowTube ™, and Panorama work together to improve seed landing points and support more consistent emergence.
  • Weed control:Equipped with AI drivers and SymphonyVision ™ technology, the Fendt Rogator ® 900 can accurately identify and apply pesticides only to weeds. Its precise application capability is designed to reduce the use of chemicals and improve efficiency.
  • Harvest Season:Harvesting, grain processing, fertilization, and cultivation are all concentrated within a six to eight-week period, making it a challenge to find labor to complete these tasks on time. On Tech Day, a fleet consisting of Fendt IDEAL ® combine harvesters and PTx tractors, equipped with the OutRun ™ autonomous driving solution, operates together with autonomous grain trucks designed for cultivation and field harvesting logistics. Meanwhile, Fendt Rogator is used to apply fertilizer for the next season after harvesting, ensuring that it is mixed into the soil before any nutrient runoff occurs. As a result, farmers can complete more work on time with their existing teams.
  • FarmerCore:AGCO's unique distribution service model combines in-air upgrades, remote diagnostics, and extended field support to reduce downtime and bring professional assistance closer to farmers.

"Our Farmer-First strategy begins with providing farmers with more choices, allowing them to decide how to adopt technology," stated Hansotia. "Whether through the equipment they already have, the brands they prefer, or the dealer relationships they trust, AGCO is focused on making practical innovations more accessible and more valuable in the fields."

AGCO indicates that the solutions displayed on Tech Day are now commercially available or are in the process of being commercialized. Farmers can learn more information through local Fendt ®, Massey Ferguson ®, Valtra ®, or PTx distributors.

AGCO will host a presentation as part of the Tech Day event to update the company's strategy and provide a detailed review of AGCO's precision agriculture business. The presentation is scheduled for 5:00 PM Central Time on October 6th and will be attended by the Chairman, President, and CEO Eric Hansotia, as well as PTx and the Company Strategy President Damon Audia. Investors can watch the live webcast of the presentation by visiting the company's investor relations website at the section “Events and Presentations”: https :// investors.agcocorp.com / events-and-presentations / upcoming-events. The live broadcast will be archived immediately after it ends and will be available for 12 months.
