Lincoln, Nebraska, and New Delhi, October 5th / PRNewswire / -- Nelnet, Inc. ( NYSE : NNI ) Its subsidiary Nelnet Business Services ( NBS ) has announced the acquisition of Entab Infotech Pvt, a leading provider of school administration, management, and learning technology software in India. Ltd. ( Entab ).

This acquisition is seen as an important step in NBS's international expansion strategy, extending its opportunities in school management, tuition fees, and campus technology products to India. India is one of the largest K-12 education markets in the world. Thereafter, the business will operate under the name of “Entab, a Nelnet company”, while retaining the Entab brand, management team, and the customer relationships that the schools in India currently depend on.

Entab was established in the year 2000, with its headquarters located in New Delhi. It provides Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Learning Management Systems through its flagship CampusCare ® platform, serving over 1,000 schools and supporting more than 1.5 million students across 28 states of India.

Moxie Capital Mumbai serves as a financial advisor, PMA Associates provides project consulting, and Khaitan & Co act as legal advisors for the shareholders of Entab.
