NVIDIA, which ranked second in Monday's U.S. stock trading volume, rose 2.12% to reach a record high, with trading volume of $30.139 billion.

Morgan Stanley maintains its overweight rating on NVIDIA, with a target price of $300.

There are mainly six reasons why Morgan Stanley has reclassified it as the top choice for semiconductors: First, its customer base is broad, with about half of its business coming from model companies, new cloud providers, sovereign entities, and enterprises among other wider customer groups; second, it diversifies against constraints related to land and power for data centers, with 55 out of 80 cloud partners located outside the United States, generating high-profit margins from software and services; third, its share of spending among the top five cloud service providers is steadily increasing, and its general-purpose processors offer the longest asset lifespan. Fourth, there is a strategy to increase revenue per gigawatt, with the Feynman architecture expected to significantly boost revenue per gigawatt from $40 billion in 2028 to over $50 billion, and the new generation of Veralubin platform offers up to 25 times the improvement in tokens compared to Blackwell; fifth, resident intelligentsia drives demand for graphics processors, and the company is confident that processor revenue will increase from $20 billion in 2026 to $40 billion in 2027; sixth, it plans to invest approximately $500 billion in AI data centers, with a commitment to returning 50% of the cash to shareholders.

In terms of valuation, with earnings per share of around $15 in 2027, that corresponds to a price-earnings ratio of about 15 times. Regarding profit forecasts, revenue is expected to increase from approximately $216 billion in 2026 to around $406 billion in 2027 and to about $690 billion in 2028.

3rd place goes to SpaceX, with a gain of 7.63%, rising to the highest level since mid-June, pushing Musk's net worth back over $1 trillion, and trading volume reached $22.518 billion.

In a report on Sunday, analysts at Morgan Stanley stated that SpaceX is “cheap” at current prices and emphasized “the future release of AI products, progress with Starship, and more new cloud (neocloud) contracts.” They recommended buying the stock and set a target price of $300, which represents a rise of about 75% from the closing price of $171.09 on Monday.

Later last week, SpaceX completed multiple historic flights within a single day, including carrying out a manned mission to the International Space Station for NASA, as well as another launch that sent Google's AI chip into orbit.

4th place for Micron, with a decline of 1.02%, and trading volume of 19.37 billion US dollars.

In a recent research report, Bank of America pointed out that with the arrival of the fourth quarter of 2026, the storage cycle will gradually emerge from its previous J-shaped growth phase and enter a new stage of development. This is in line with the recent financial results and latest forecasts of Micron Technology ( MU.US ): sales in the fourth fiscal quarter of 2026 are expected to grow by 31% quarter-on-quarter, lower than the 74% growth in the third fiscal quarter; the company anticipates that sales in the first fiscal quarter of 2027 will only grow by 13.5% quarter-on-quarter.

Tesla, ranked 6th, rose by 2.20%, with a trading volume of 15.879 billion US dollars.

Tesla's delivery volume in the third quarter exceeded Wall Street's expectations, as sales in the European market have recovered this year after a sluggish period last year. Tesla delivered a total of 486,532 cars in the third quarter, surpassing analysts' average forecast of 456,896 vehicles. These figures indicate that after two consecutive years of declining annual sales, Tesla's core automotive business may be on the path to stability.

Microsoft, ranked 7th, saw a gain of 1.48%, with trading volume reaching 13.985 billion US dollars.

Microsoft is making efforts to reduce employees' use of Claude. Previously, Microsoft estimated that the internal expenditure on using Claude AI would be $1 billion. After requesting employees to reduce their use of Claude in order to save costs and devote more time to using Microsoft's own AI tools, it has lowered this estimate by more than one-third.

8th place: WBD, with a 0.03% increase in price and trading volume of 13.485 billion US dollars.

Apple, ranked 9th, fell 0.24%, with trading volume of 11.451 billion US dollars.

According to media reports, some iPhone users in Pro Max who use the communication services of AT&T ( AT &T) are unable to receive cellular network signals due to device issues, resulting in their inability to make calls, use mobile data, or send and receive text messages. The affected devices can only maintain basic functionality through Wi-Fi.

Apple confirmed the issue on October 2nd local time and released an operator settings update as well as the iOS 27.0.1 system version to prevent further spread of the problem. However, installing the update cannot repair devices that have already lost service. Apple stated that it will provide affected users with a free replacement device.

10th place: Meta Platforms, with a gain of 1.90% and trading volume of 11.266 billion US dollars.

11th place for Sandisk, with a decline of 0.92%, and trading volume of 1.11 billion US dollars.

Amazon ranked 14th, with a decline of 0.05%, and trading volume of $9.873 billion.

Intel ranked 15th, with a gain of 2.63% and trading volume of 9.453 billion US dollars.

Earlier reports stated that TSMC and Elon Musk's Terafab discussed potential cooperation.

Google A ranked 16th, with a gain of 0.86% and trading volume of 8.853 billion US dollars.

17th place AMD, with a decline of 0.34%, and trading volume of 8.631 billion US dollars.
