Klipboard has completed the acquisition of Linxup in order to enhance its interconnect fleet management and on-site service management business in North America.

Klipboard, headquartered in Cary, North Carolina, USA, states that Linxup is a market-leading fleet management platform that offers a wide range of product suites to customers in North America, helping them to manage their vehicle fleets and on-site operations more effectively.

Linxup was established in 2004 and provides a cloud-based fleet and on-site service management solution, including real-time vehicle tracking, AI-enabled dashcams, tool and equipment tracking, driving behavior monitoring, as well as driver and vehicle compliance management. Linxup states that its cloud platform processes millions of data points daily and transforms complex fleet and operational data into actionable insights.

The solution provided by Linxup enables customers to monitor and manage their assets through an easy-to-use AI system. It enhances productivity, reduces operational costs, minimizes downtime, and improves driving safety through streamlined work processes, while maintaining visibility over vehicles, equipment, and assets. Linxup emphasizes that its operational model is centered around rapid deployment, self-service installation, and high-touch customer support in the United States, with the aim of accelerating adoption, customer retention, and time-to-value realization.

Currently, the Linxup service serves approximately 25,000 customers, with over 240,000 connected devices. Its customer base covers a range of field service industries including logistics, distribution, construction and heavy equipment, equipment leasing, HVAC and piping, landscaping and lawn care, transportation, and public utilities.

This acquisition further strengthens Klipboard's continuously expanding portfolio of solutions for managing customers' physical and on-site operations, including vehicles, tools, equipment, and on-site teams.

Prior to this acquisition, Klipboard had acquired and continuously developed RAM Tracking at the beginning of 2025. RAM Tracking is a provider of fleet tracking and mobile work management solutions. Klipboard stated that this move further consolidates its position as a leading provider of software solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises and field service companies.

Linxup CEO Drew Reynolds indicates:

I am pleased to announce that Linxup and Klipboard will join forces to pursue greater opportunities in the United States and North American markets. This milestone marks the end of our continuous growth during our collaboration with Spectrum Equity and opens an exciting new chapter for Linxup, our employees, and our customers. Klipboard's portfolio of industry-specific software products enables Linxup to access a powerful global software platform, thereby accelerating innovation and bringing greater value to our customers.
