News from the IT Home on October 9th: This morning (the 9th), Li Auto's official Weibo account announced the release schedule for the 2026 Li i6: on October 11th (the day after tomorrow), the cars will be displayed in stores nationwide; on October 12th, they will make their debut at the Paris Motor Show; on October 28th, there will be a launch event; and delivery will begin in early November.

Subsequently, Li Xiang of Li Auto CEO posted on Weibo, introducing 6 major upgrades to the new car:
- Brighter lights: ADB matrix headlights, ideal MEGA the same model, illuminate wider and farther on night roads.
- More convenient storage: Electric front trunk, just tap or say a word to open it.
- More comfortable seats: The front row features zero-gravity seats that can be reclined to a 150-degree angle, allowing you to rest comfortably while waiting.
- Larger screens: 29-inch 6K panoramic screens for the front row, and 21-inch 4K entertainment screens for the back row, matching the flagship model.
- Longer battery life: With a self-developed high-speed charging large battery and a capacity of 96 kWh, the CLTC can achieve a range of 780 kilometers.
- More powerful chip: Qualcomm 8797 combined with our own-developed Mach M100, offering a fully immersive smart experience.
Li Xiang revealed in a long article: “Over the years, some people have suggested that we produce sports cars, pickups, or RVs, but we haven’t done any of them. These categories are all quite viable, but our capabilities and resources are limited. We need to focus on delivering the best value to our users first.”
Li Xiang also shared his thoughts on how the ideal i6 is referred to as a “blockbuster”: “A blockbuster is never the result of a planned strategy; it’s rather the feedback from the market after providing the value that users truly need. If one starts developing a product with the goal of creating a blockbuster in mind, chasing different trends one day and different specifications the next, in the end, the product will have everything, but what users actually need on a daily basis won’t be optimized to the best.”

According to previous reports from the IT website, the 2026 model Li Auto i6 has completed its registration, featuring Li Auto's self-developed 5C battery and self-developed Mach chip.
The 2026 Ideal i6 has dimensions of 4950 mm in length, 1935 mm in width, and 1655 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3000 mm. It is equipped with semi-hidden door handles and offers options for side lidar or rear lidar. There are two versions: single-motor and dual-motor four-wheel drive. The single-motor version has a maximum motor power of 250 kilowatts, while the dual-motor version has front and rear motor powers of 150 kilowatts and 250 kilowatts respectively.
