On October 10th, according to a report from technology media MacRumors, Apple may have applied for trademarks in the United States and other countries through a shell company Home Services LLC.

According to a blog post cited by IT, when the application for HomeView emerged, another shell company, Home Operations Suite LLC, also applied for the homeOS trademark, which is likewise alleged to be related to Apple Inc.

Apple is reportedly planning to hold a "Welcome Home" ( Welcome home ) launch event on October 13th, where they will unveil a new smart home hub. Whether this device will be named HomeView and whether its new operating system will adopt homeOS remains to be seen.
