Paris, October 19 (Reuters/ PR Newswire ) – The 2026 Paris Motor Show was held from October 12 to 18 at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. InfiMotion Technology, as an important enterprise in the field of Chinese powertrains, did not participate in the exhibition separately, but its electric drive systems were featured in the booths of several automobile companies, including almost all models on Geely's stand, as well as models from Lynk & Co, Krypton, and Smart. Geely's booth also showcased the European debut of the Monjaro EM-i, as well as the latest products of EX2, EX5, and STARRAY EM-i. InfiMotion's latest products were also presented during Geely's UTAC roadshow in France, allowing European media to have direct access to its next-generation electric drive product portfolio.
Technological Leadership: Setting Global Benchmarks
The new off-road dual-motor electric drive system of InfiMotion – the only dual-motor system in its class with a locking function – makes its debut on Geely K011. Each motor outputs 220 kilowatts, with a combined peak torque of 2 x 4,500 N·m. Its differential lock controller can direct the output to one side to help the vehicle get out of difficult situations; the maximum torque distribution to a single wheel can reach 9,000 N·m, with a range of 200%. This system meets the IPX8 protection level and has passed ice impact and water immersion tests.
This product portfolio covers platforms from 400V to 900V. TP501 The 900V coaxial dual-motor drive uses a semi-solid die-cast magnesium alloy casing, reducing weight by 30%. P600 Compact EDU Suitable for platforms above 750V, it achieves a CLTC efficiency of 92.4% through Mini-Pin windings and 0.2-millimeter ultra-thin silicon steel sheets. Its proprietary deep oil cooling technology supports over 100 full-throttle accelerations without any performance degradation. The off-road system has entered mass production, and the 11-in-1 domain control EDU launched in 2024 is equipped on Geely Galaxy E5 – this model is China's highest-exporting A-class electric vehicle.
Global Competitiveness: Continuous Expansion of International Presence
In the first half of 2026, InfiMotion ranked among the top three in China in terms of motor and inverter shipments. Its R&D network covers Wuxi, Shanghai, Ningbo, Hangzhou, and Gothenburg, and it employs over 1,000 engineers, including more than 100 Swedish software experts. The company has five intelligent manufacturing bases in China, and its global supply network extends to Europe and Malaysia. It boasts the world's first 30,000 revolutions per minute motor testing bench at a testing center certified by CNAS, with verification capabilities including thermal cycles from -60 degrees Celsius to 140 degrees Celsius, 1,500 hours of salt spray testing, and 2,500 hours of durability testing.
