Dallas, October 19 (Reuters) – TRB Securities Chairman No é Hinojosa Jr was awarded the 2026 Hispanic Business Salute award in recognition of his leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, and contributions to public finance and the business community of North Texas.

This award is jointly presented by UPS, NBC, Telemundo (39), and the Dallas Cowboys, with the aim of recognizing the leadership and contributions of Hispanic business leaders to their communities. Hinojosa was nominated by the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to receive this honor.

Hinojosa co-founded Estrada Hinojosa in 1992 and has been working in the public finance sector for over 30 years. At the award ceremony, the company was recognized for its involvement as a financial advisor or underwriter in more than 8,300 municipal bond transactions, totaling over $750 billion. Its services cover major cities in Texas, DFW International Airport, transportation authorities, school districts, counties, as well as other public institutions in Texas and throughout the United States. Symbolically, Hinojosa was honored on September 20th during the game between the Cowboys at the AT &T Stadium, and he has been helping to finance related projects for this team since 2001. Upon receiving the award, Hinojosa attributed the honor to those who helped the company grow, as well as to the long-term cooperative relationships that have supported the company for over thirty years.

Hinojosa said, "No matter what industry you are in, you must take good care of the people around you. We are very fortunate to have built a company that can sustain for a long time, and all of this is thanks to the employees who have dedicated their careers to this company. Some of them have worked with us for 25 years, 30 years, or even 33 years. Their loyalty, dedication, and belief in the cause we have built are important reasons why this recognition means so much to me."

This recognition was obtained after Hinojosa was selected for the The Bond Buyer Muni Hall of Fame in 2025, adding another highlight to his career centered around public finance, entrepreneurship, and services. In a special feature about this award produced by Telemundo, Hinojosa pointed out the broader significance of this work: to create opportunities for future generations and to contribute to the sustained prosperity of the Dallas-Fort Worth community.
