Apple confirmed on Monday that it will hold a product launch event on October 28th, where it plans to officially introduce its first touchscreen MacBook.
According to Bloomberg, this press conference will be held in Los Angeles, with the theme " Pro and tell ", in order to coincide with this update of MacBook Pro.
The new touch model MacBook is expected to introduce a "Dynamic Island" interactive interface similar to that of iPhone, and will feature a clearer display screen using OLED technology. These two features are debut appearances in the history of Mac.
The new model will be equipped with M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, consistent with the current MacBook Pro launched in March this year.
Apple will also launch new entry-level MacBook Pro models equipped with M6 chips, upgraded iMac models, as well as newly redesigned iPad and mini models with clearer screens at the conference.
Previously, on October 8th, relevant media reports had already mentioned this. This time, Apple has officially confirmed the launch event date. Apple's stock price fell slightly on Monday, dropping by 0.28% as of the time of this report.

Prior to this, Apple has released a series of new products in recent weeks, including the new HomeView, HomePod, mini 2, as well as an updated version of the Apple TV set-top box. The company's first foldable screen device, the iPhone – iPhone Duo, will be officially available for purchase this Friday.
Previously, media reports stated that Apple retail stores were preparing to start selling new products on November 6th. The launch of the new touchscreen MacBook Pro marks a significant shift in the company's strategy, as Apple has for many years insisted that it would not combine the experiences of iPad and Mac.
