Strive purchased 4,045 Bitcoins at around $82,803 each from October 12th to 16th, increasing their holdings to 36,818 Bitcoins.

On October 15, Strive priced the issuance of SATS preferred stocks with a value of $630 million and a coupon rate of 15%, with settlement expected to occur on October 20.

According to a regulatory document released on Monday, this company, which is listed on NASDAQ and holds Bitcoin as part of its treasury assets, purchased 4,045 BTC between October 12th and 16th.

Calculated at an average of approximately $82,803 per coin, this batch of bitcoins is worth about $335 million; after this purchase, Strive's bitcoin holdings have increased from 32,773 coins a week ago to 36,818 coins. At the current price, the total value of their bitcoin holdings is slightly over $3 billion.

Strive was established in 2022 and initially served as an anti-ESG asset management company, co-founded by former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. In May 2025, the company began to hold Bitcoin as a treasury reserve asset, while it was also advancing a merger with a publicly traded company named Asset Entities; in September of the same year, it agreed to acquire medical device manufacturer Semler Scientific through a wholly stock transaction. Semler Scientific holds approximately 5,000 BTC, and this transaction was valued at around 1.3 billion US dollars.

As the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, Strategy also made a purchase last week: they bought 267 BTC at a price of approximately $82,900 each, totaling about $22.1 million, bringing their total holdings to 848,517 BTC. The company also spent $193.1 million to repurchase its own STRC preferred stocks; Strive holds 505,000 of these shares. Meanwhile, Strategy increased its preferred stock repurchase plan from $2 billion to $3 billion.

Index provider MSCI finalized a rule for "non-operating companies" on October 15th. If a company fails to pass the screening for "substantive operating assets" as well as subsequent financial tests, it will be removed from its index at the close of trading on November 30th.

Michael Saylor of Strategy once stated in a letter in September that the proposal was discriminatory, and MSCI will announce the final list of affected companies on November 11th.

In the field of digital asset treasuries, Bitmine, a subsidiary of Tom Lee, increased its holdings of ETH by 12,535, which is approximately equivalent to $30 million. Currently, it holds 6,041,481 ETH, accounting for 4.9% of Ethereum's total supply of about 122.1 million tokens. Lee stated that once the company's holding ratio reaches 5%, further purchases will cease; he also mentioned that the general shift in the market towards risk aversion, investors withdrawing from risky assets, concerns over AI financing, tensions between the US and Iran, uncertainties surrounding mid-term elections, and rising bond yields are all factors influencing the situation.

Preferred stocks pay a fixed dividend when announced by the board of directors, similar to bond interest, but this is not guaranteed; the term 'permanent' means that there is no maturity date. The dividend here is 15% of the face value of $100, which is $15 per year; if purchased for $90, the yield is approximately 16.7%.

Jim Cramer Says Recent AI Stock Sales Remind People of the Important Lessons from the 1987 Stock Market Crash
The Jim Cramer of CNBC indicates that the stock market crash in 1987 provides an important lesson that can be used to understand the recent selling of AI stocks. He believes that the simultaneous decline in some data center and semiconductor stocks currently reflects more on capital flow and forced selling, rather than necessarily a deterioration in the fundamental conditions of the companies.

However, there is still disagreement in the market regarding short-term liquidity risks in the United States and the pressures on high-leverage, high-valuation stocks.
