Chicago, October 26th / PRNewswire / -- Keeper Security Today, the company announced that for the second consecutive year, it has been included in the 2026 Gartner ® Privileged Access Management ( PAM ) Magic Quadrant™. The Gartner report evaluates suppliers based on two dimensions: “Execution Capability” and “Vision Integrity.” Keeper believes that this year’s recognition reflects the company’s cloud-native architecture, as well as its unified approach to managing the entire identity lifecycle, which covers passwords and keys, terminal permission management, and AI proxy governance.

Product innovation to address modern identity threats

Keeper Recent product innovations are directly aimed at identity-based threats that are reshaping enterprise security. The company has launched KeeperDB for password-free database management and released Universal Secrets Sync, which allows keys to be directly pushed to cloud-native vaults, extending key governance to modern infrastructure. KeeperAI Now, behavioral threat detection has been extended to privileged session protocols to identify abnormal proxy AI activities and trigger automated session responses, treating AI proxies as privileged users with full audit and policy execution capabilities.

Keeper Security, the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder, stated: "The differences between the system we built and traditional PAM platforms become immediately apparent during the deployment phase, as the underlying architectures are completely different. When you attempt to add remote access management or key governance to a system that was initially designed for local deployment and later migrated to the cloud, you are always fighting against the original design. From the very beginning, we made a different choice by building KeeperPAM to be cloud-native and identity-agnostic from the start. This unique architecture is particularly important when you are trying to govern humans, machines, and AI proxies simultaneously."

Why is this important?

As enterprises deploy AI proxies within their infrastructure, each proxy introduces new identities, attack surfaces, and compliance obligations. The pace of market changes has surpassed the adaptability of traditional platforms. The recognition of Keeper reflects a fundamental shift in identity governance: it now encompasses passwords, keys, machines, and AI proxies, and each category of entity requires the same audit trails, policy enforcement, and session visibility. This means that security teams need a platform that is built from the outset to accommodate these realities, rather than attempting to retrofit it afterwards.

Progress in 2026

In the view of Keeper, the recognition received by Gartner is just part of the company's efforts to gain broader market validation in 2026. Industry awards have also contributed to this growth, including Cybersecurity Excellence Awards, which recognizes Keeper for its performance in innovation and zero-trust leadership.

Keeper Security CEO and Co-Founder Darren Guccione stated: " Keeper is not just about adapting to the ever-changing security environment; we have designed an identity security platform specifically for such environments. By providing a unified platform to protect everything from humans to AI proxies, we are solving visibility, access, and governance issues that traditional systems cannot address. Our commitment to industry innovation is why we continue to appear in Gartner reports."

Keeper indicates that with FedRAMP High authentication, GovRAMP High authorization, Type II certification, ISO 27001 authentication, and FIPS 140-3 verification, the company can provide customers in the commercial and public sectors with the highest level of security and compliance assurance.
