St. Petersburg, Florida, November 2nd / PRNewswire / -- 360 Advanced is a people-oriented, technology-driven cybersecurity and compliance company. The company announced today that it has become the first independent assessor of cloud service products to receive the FedRAMP ® 20x Class C certification that fully complies with the CR26 requirements. 360 Advanced conducted an independent assessment of Perplexity Enterprise and API Platform, and the results were confirmed on October 28, 2026.

Under the CR26 framework, independent evaluators are required to verify whether security measures have been implemented in accordance with the documentation and to confirm whether they have produced the expected results. At the same time, a technical review is also conducted. For projects involving Perplexity, 360 Advanced:

  • Evaluated the key security indicators within the minimum assessment scope.
  • Automated verification methods to support each indicator were evaluated.
  • Reviewed machine-readable evidence

This certification does not have a fixed expiration date; it remains valid as long as the product continues to meet the ongoing certification requirements, which includes at least one independent assessment per year. 360 Advanced will continue to support the ongoing certification of Perplexity, including maintaining the annual independent assessments required to keep this Class C certification valid.

360 CEO and founder Dan Collins stated: "360 has undertaken an unprecedented effort. Their team has approached FedRAMP with the transparency and engineering discipline required by the new regulations, achieving a 20x improvement. CR26 requires evaluators to assess security at a technical level and confirm that it indeed brings tangible results, and 360 has taken the lead in this first certification. As a leading adopter of AI in the field of network security compliance, as well as a team that provides independent assurance for AI companies shaping the future, we fulfill our mission: led by people, empowered by AI, to serve the future of network security compliance. We congratulate Perplexity on obtaining this historic certification and are proud to be the independent evaluator of the first Class C product that fully complies with CR26 requirements."
