IT News on November 3rd: Apple today released its annual report for the fiscal year 2026 (September 28, 2025, to September 26, 2026) and its fourth quarter report (June 28, 2026, to September 26, 2026). Following the release, the company's CEO, John Ternus, stated that its first foldable iPhone, Duo, is still facing production capacity limitations. As a result, the company is unable to meet market demand, and it is also currently impossible to predict when supply and demand will return to balance.
Tenuis stated that the ramp-up of production capacity for iPhone and Duo products is "progressing smoothly," and Apple is making efforts to deliver products to more consumers. However, there is no clear timeline for the shortage issue to end in the short term. Currently, users who place orders for iPhone and Duo products are expected to wait until January next year to receive their goods; some physical stores also have very little inventory available for online reservations.

In addition, regarding the screen issues reported by some users regarding iPhone and Duo (users have reported cracks appearing along the hinge of the inner display screen, accompanied by bright lines, etc.), Ternus responded that only "a very small proportion" of devices are affected, and Apple is providing replacement services for the affected users.
In terms of financial reports, Apple announced that its revenue for the September quarter reached $114.5 billion (Note from IT: The current exchange rate is approximately 762.668 billion yuan), a year-on-year increase of 12%, setting a record for the same period; however, since iPhone and Duo were not officially released for sale until after the end of that quarter, their sales performance was not included in this quarter's financial report.
