Amazon is saying goodbye to Grubhub and turning to embrace Uber Eats.
Two companies announced on Thursday that members of this retail giant’s Prime can now place orders for meals through Uber Eats.
Two companies stated that members do not need to pay a delivery fee when the amount of their food orders reaches $25 or more. Both parties also mentioned that for a member's first two orders totaling $25 or more, there will be a discount of $20 per order.
Amazon states that users must place an order with Amazon using the code Uber Eats to enjoy this new benefit.

Amazon stated in the announcement: "Members of Prime can start placing orders immediately, without the need for a new application, a Uber account, or login credentials."
Amazon will also end its collaboration with Grubhub. Previously, this collaboration also provided similar benefits to Prime members. The two companies have been working together since 2022.
Last week, DoorDash indicated plans to acquire Instacart for $17 billion. This transaction will create a company that will have numerous retail partners in both the supermarket and restaurant sectors. It is expected that this transaction will take at least one year to complete.
After establishing its own team of freelance delivery drivers to deliver groceries to stores, Walmart has also been making inroads into the restaurant delivery business.
