According to CoinMeta, Metaplanet announced a further revision to its capital allocation policy, planning to allocate approximately 85%–90% of its total assets to BTC. Another 10%–15% will be used for mergers and acquisitions, income-generating assets, and asset management. The related borrowing for holding and increasing holdings of BTC is intended to be controlled at less than about 10% of the net asset value of BTC. The company also introduced a net interest margin income strategy, aiming to invest in assets with returns higher than the cost of funds through borrowing, perpetual preferred stocks, and Bitbonds, in order to generate net interest margin income. As of September 30, the company held 44,000 BTC.
