According to CoinMeta, and as reported by TechCrunch, Nous Research, a startup that uses an open-source Hermes AI proxy, has just completed a financing round of $90 million, raising its valuation to $1.5 billion. The company stated that it expects its revenue to nearly triple by the end of the year. Its Hermes proxy has been cloned over 24 million times, and Nous estimates that it accounts for about 2.5% of global AI token usage. This financing round was led by Robot Ventures, with NVIDIA, Union Square Ventures, Menlo Ventures, and Samsung also participating in the investment. The total funding amount has now reached $158 million.
