Deus X Capital announces cessation of operations, CEO Tim Grant shifts to invest in AI

According to CoinMeta, Deus X Capital has announced the cessation of its operations, and CEO Tim Grant will shift its focus to artificial intelligence investments. The company will officially dissolve on January 31, 2027, with Chief Investment Officer Stuart Connolly continuing to oversee the transition process. Some of the investment portfolio businesses will continue to operate. The investors of Deus X, a family led by Morton, are splitting up their investment activities. Shane Morton is establishing a new entity focused on artificial intelligence, while Owen and Jason Morton have formed a new entity called 95 that focuses on markets and fintech. Grant stated that Deus X has achieved an average annual return of 36.5% since its inception.
