According to CoinMeta, Bitget held its eighth anniversary offline event today. Xie Jiayin, the person in charge of the Greater China region, reviewed the platform's eight-year development journey and stated that Bitget has evolved from a single cryptocurrency trading platform into a comprehensive exchange covering stocks, commodities, and AI trading among other diversified scenarios. As of the second quarter, non-cryptocurrency asset transactions accounted for 40% of the platform's total volume, and approximately one in every four new users began their Bitget journey through Rtoken. Xie Jiayin mentioned that Bitget will continue to advance its UEX strategy, expanding into more diverse assets and trading scenarios, and improving institutional-level custody and over-the-counter settlement infrastructure to meet the differentiated needs of various types of institutions. At the event, Bitget also disclosed the progress of the third batch of rewards under its "Peer Program": a total of 3,495,658 US dollars in rewards have been distributed, benefiting 2,277,318 individuals.
