According to CoinMeta, CrowdStrike pointed out that hackers suspected of the recent bank data breaches in South Korea had inquired about AI's coding tool Claude regarding how to sell the stolen data. In its report on October 7th, CrowdStrike stated that the attackers used a AI penetration testing tool developed in China and multiple language models. The report indicated that several South Korean banks disclosed customer data breaches over the past week, with records of approximately 25,000 customers being compromised. The police have launched a comprehensive investigation into this matter. CrowdStrike predicts that the attackers will continue to attempt attacks using the AI tool.
