Chainlink launches the CCIP Vault Adapters scheme, supporting cross-chain storage
2026-10-09 05:13:54
According to CoinMeta, Chainlink announced the official launch of the “CCIP Vault Adapters” solution. This solution leverages the programmable token transfer capabilities of its cross-chain interoperability protocol (CCIP) to allow standard ERC-4626 and other DEFI vaults deployed on a single chain to directly receive one-click cross-chain deposits from users across more than 80 blockchain networks. Users do not need to manually perform cross-chain bridging, switch networks, or go through multiple authorizations. At the same time, the accounting settlement, risk control parameters, and liquidity of the vaults remain on the native main chain. Currently, this adapter has been adopted by several mainstream protocols and asset issuers, including AAVE, Venus, Lombard, World Liberty Financial, Maple, Rexyz, as well as the vault infrastructure Veda.
