According to CoinMeta, the crypto travel booking platform Travala announced a collaboration with BNB Chain and Binance Pay to launch a native AI travel agency ( AI Travel Agent ). This tool is available on both desktop and mobile web pages, allowing travelers to directly search for and book hotels around the world through a conversational AI interface on BNB Smart Chain ( BSC ), without the need to download any additional applications. The underlying technology includes a machine payment protocol ( MPP ) provided by BNB Chain and an agency framework; Binance Pay is responsible for fund settlements. Users only need to authorize through their wallets for off-chain signing with Permit2 to complete the authorization process without incurring any fees. Subsequently, Binance Pay will handle the on-chain network fees and transfer the funds to the Travala platform to generate an on-chain voucher to confirm the order. The initial phase covers hotel bookings, with flight and car rental services set to be launched in subsequent stages.
