ICANN A new round of top-level domain name applications reaches 1,615, AI and encrypted domains become hot topics

According to CoinMeta, a total of 1,615 applications were received for the new round of generic top-level domain names (gTLDs), among which agent received 13 applications. The applicants included OpenAI, Meta, Google's own registry, and Ipollo. OpenAI applied for 15 domain names, including gpt and chatgptAnthropic. There were also multiple applicants for encrypted domain names such as claude.BTC and BNB.
