According to CoinMeta, Netflix has released a trailer for the eight-episode series “The Altruists” about Sam Bankman - Fried and Caroline Ellison, which is set to premiere on November 19th. The series explores how two young idealists become involved in billions of dollars in criminal activities within a plan to reshape finance, through the relationship between the former CEO of FTX and Ellison. In the trailer, Ellison states, “Lying for a good cause is not considered bad.” The creator of the series, Graham Moore, mentioned that the story revolves around individuals who initially had charitable intentions but eventually convinced themselves to commit crimes. Netflix confirmed that viewers will receive all eight episodes on November 19th.
