NEAR Protocol supports post-quantum signature algorithms, no need to migrate assets

According to CoinMeta, NEAR Protocol indicates that their account already supports the post-quantum signature algorithm ml-dsa, and there is no need to migrate assets. The NEAR One team is developing nep-655, which generates implicit accounts through the hash of the initial account state, avoiding the exposure of public keys or public key hashes on the chain. This feature has been launched on the test network and is expected to be deployed to the mainnet in the coming weeks. In addition, the team is designing a scalable signature mechanism for the NEAR Intents wallet contract, supporting ml-dsa and hash-based signature schemes, and is also developing a q-day recovery registration mechanism for blockchains that do not currently support post-quantum keys, allowing users to pre-commit to key recovery through rotatable hashes.
