2026-10-10 02:52:48
According to CoinMeta, the Thai Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved Thai mutual funds and private funds to purchase Bitcoin and Ethereum listed on the Thai Stock Exchange. The relevant rules will come into effect on October 16th. The SEC's 11 notices prohibit depositary receipts related to overseas products; previously, these funds could only invest in cryptocurrencies issued overseas. It is stated that the current investment restrictions are still in effect, and any new products in the future will depend on liquidity, market acceptance, blockchain network security, and investor protection.
