According to CoinMeta, Samsung announced that it will support cross-border transfers of USDC in its Wallet during the last week of October. The first phase will be targeted at eligible Galaxy users in the United States, covering approximately 82 million devices. Users will be able to transfer US dollar stablecoins to compatible cryptocurrency wallets within seconds, and they can also remit funds to eligible bank accounts in over 60 countries and regions without incurring any transfer fees. This service will utilize the Solana and SUI networks as its underlying infrastructure, with the licensed stablecoin custodian Bastion serving as the primary custodian, and Coinbase Prime acting as the secondary custodian to ensure the security of USDC assets.
