According to CoinMeta, Tom Lee stated in a speech at Token2049 that during a recent dinner with some friends from VC that he met over a decade ago in Taiwan, China, they reflected on how Bitcoin's value has risen from less than $1,000 to around $80,000 over the past ten years, resulting in a return of about 80 times. He believes that although venture capital investments have been satisfactory, looking back, it would have been better to directly buy Bitcoin from the start. He suggests that during this cycle, one should increase their allocation to Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana as much as possible, as these top-tier public chains are set to capture a large amount of value in this cycle.
