CoinMeta data: According to U.Today, JPMorgan Chase's asset management department predicted in its latest 2027 long-term capital market assumptions report that Bitcoin will surpass all other major asset classes over the next decade, with an average annual return rate expected to be 10%. This return rate ranks first among all major asset classes, outperforming U.S. real estate investment trusts (8.2%), small-cap stocks (7.7%), large-cap stocks (7.5%), emerging market stocks (7.1%), and gold (5.5%). Matt Hougan, JPMorgan Chase's Chief Investment Officer, noted that the bank has shifted from initial skepticism about Bitcoin to openly predicting that it will be the best-performing asset over the next decade. Although Hougan mentioned there are "many warnings" and pointed out that Bitcoin is still not mature, it is still "quite astonishing" to see Bitcoin mentioned in the report. This is JPMorgan Chase's first time making a forecast for Bitcoin's return range. JPMorgan Chase stated that it expects global capital expenditure to reach $15 trillion, mainly due to investments in artificial intelligence and other technologies, which will drive higher growth and productivity, as well as strong returns over the next decade.
