According to CoinMeta, as reported by CNBC, Bob McGrew – former research director at OpenAI – is quietly founding a startup called Arda with the aim of using artificial intelligence to bring manufacturing back to the United States. The company has raised $230 million in funding and is valued at $1.5 billion. This round of financing was led by Altimeter Capital, Accel, and Khosla Ventures.
