According to CoinMeta, AI, a company founded by Bob McGrew, the former chief research officer of OpenAI, has announced the completion of a $160 million Series A financing round, with a valuation reaching $1.5 billion. This financing round was led by Altimeter, Accel, and Khosla Ventures. Together with the $72 million seed round, the total financing amount reaches $232 million. AI Agent of Arda helps manufacturing engineers; after uploading CAD drawings, AI can plan the assembly sequence, arrange workstations, write operation instructions, and update production plans after design changes. The American military technology company Anduril has integrated this into its ArsenalOS manufacturing system. What used to take 10 hours to write, now only takes 15 minutes, and complex processes have been reduced from 30 hours to about 2.5 hours. McGrew points out that workers can learn new procedures within a day, but traditional automated production lines require 3 to 6 months to adapt to new designs. Arda plans to allow AI to directly program and adjust industrial robots, reducing the production line transformation cycle to just a few days; currently, it is still in the prototype development stage.
