According to CoinMeta, SpaceX reported a net profit of $4.4 billion in the third quarter, far exceeding the market's expectation of $1.88 billion. Revenue increased by 161% year-on-year, which drove its stock price up by 12.4% at one point during trading on Wednesday. However, the company stated that it will continue to make substantial investments, raising concerns in the market about potential future increases in debt levels. The yield spread on the bonds of SpaceX maturing in 2046 with a coupon rate of 6.6% widened by 9 basis points to 264 basis points, and the price of the five-year credit default swap (CDS) once rose to 232.6 basis points, hitting new highs several times this month. Brett Johnson, the company's Chief Financial Officer, stated that the company will focus on investing in super intelligent computing power, as well as Starlink broadband and mobile services, and is in talks with multiple sources of debt capital for financing.
