According to CoinMeta, the commercialization of AI is facing real-world challenges, with 1% of customers contributing nearly half of the Anthropic revenue. Data tracked by Ramp shows that about 80% of the revenue from the enterprise segment of Anthropic and OpenAI comes from just 1% of the total customer base, indicating a clear trend of customer concentration. In August and September, corporate Token spending saw almost no growth for two consecutive months. Although it reached a record high at the beginning of October, it was only 1.5% higher than the August peak. The decline in prices is a significant reason for the stagnation in spending growth; the actual Token price index has fallen from over $1.70 in mid-September to $0.83, a decrease of more than 50%. At the same time, the growth in corporate AI adoption rates has slowed down, with the adoption rate rising by only 0.62 percentage points in September to reach 55.9%. Goldman Sachs warns that the growth rate of demand must exceed the decline in prices in order to support continued investment in computing power.
