(Nasdaq ticker: AVNW), a specialist in wireless transmission and access solutions, today announced a manufacturing licensing agreement with Dixon Electro Appliances Private Ltd. ( Dixon ) for designated products within the Aviat WTM 4000 series in India. Under the agreement, Dixon will manufacture and sell the approved products for certain Indian telecom operators, while Aviat will retain its intellectual property rights and continue to provide software and services.

This model enables Aviat to expand its coverage in India's growing microwave infrastructure market without being constrained by the typical limitations of traditional contract manufacturing models. Indian customers will benefit from "Made in India" radio equipment and local supply chain support, which helps to improve response times and reduce logistical challenges such as the complexity of international transportation and import delays.
