News from the IT community on October 6th: Technology media MacRumors reported yesterday (October 5th) that, based on feedback from community users, Apple has quietly increased the maximum number of aliases for iCloud emails ( iCloud Mail ) from 3 to 9, representing a 200% increase.
IT Note: The email alias (iCloud Mail Alias) allows users to create multiple @icloud.com email addresses based on a single iCloud account. All emails are received in the main mailbox, and independent sending is also supported. This is commonly used in scenarios such as subscription registration, privacy protection, and email organization to avoid direct exposure of the main mailbox address.

In addition to standard aliases, Apple has also increased the quota for personalized email addresses with "custom email domain names" ( Custom Email Domain ). The number of personalized email addresses allowed per custom domain has been increased from 3 to 10. For more information, visit IT. This change was updated on September 30th.
Custom email domain names are a premium feature provided by Apple for iCloud + users, allowing them to use their own domain names (such as name @ yourdomain.com) to send and receive emails, while also enjoying iCloud email services. Multiple personalized addresses can be created for each domain, with a current limit of 10.
