IT News on October 13th: According to a report by Blue Whale News today, the second model under the AIVA brand of Saidou Technology is expected to be named SUV, and they are considering adopting a battery swapping solution.

People familiar with the matter revealed that whether Saidou Technology has cooperated with CATL on the "chocolate battery swapping" initiative is still undecided, and the final plan has not been finalized yet; "it hasn't been clearly defined."

IT Note: The "Chocolate Battery Swapping" comprehensive solution was launched by Times Power Service Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of CATL. According to official CATL data, as of September 29, 2026, there were over 2,520 battery swapping stations established nationwide under the "Chocolate Battery Swapping" program, covering 31 provinces and 200 cities, with nearly 20,000 brand-new batteries having been deployed in these stations.

The predecessor of Saidou Technology was Chongqing Landian Technology Co., Ltd., which officially changed its name at the end of May this year. Saisis' mid-year report for 2026 indicates that Saisis established Saidou Technology by injecting assets related to Landian's automotive business, and entered into capital increase arrangements with multiple independent third-party investors and employee shareholding platforms, totaling approximately 6.671 billion RMB.

After the capital increase in July 2026, Seres' stake in Saidou Technology was further diluted, and it no longer held control rights. As a result, Saidou Technology was no longer included in Seres' consolidated financial statements. According to business registration information, Chongqing Shaci Zhiyuan New Energy Technology Partnership (Limited Partnership) is the largest shareholder, holding approximately 34.5% of the shares, Seres holds about 32.96%, and Wending Times' wholly-owned subsidiary Wendings Investment holds around 9.89%.

AIVA is a pioneering eco-mobility brand launched by Saidou Technology on June 9th. It follows the car-making philosophy of "AI defines cars; first, there is AI, and then the car itself." The entire product line will cover the mainstream market with prices starting from over 200,000 yuan.

At the end of September this year, AIVA's first mass-produced model, AIVA ME7, made its global debut in Paris, France. In addition, ByteDance's Volcano Engine, as an important technical partner of AIVA, provided technical services such as the DouBao large model and intelligent cockpit for the brand, participating in joint definition and joint design.

It is worth noting that Volcano Engine's partners are not limited to Saidou Technology alone. On September 17th of this year, the AI native in-vehicle assistant, DouBao Cockpit Assistant, jointly developed by DouBao and Volcano Engine, was officially launched, and the pre-sale for the first model equipped with it, the Roewe Ei60, has already begun.
