New York, October 19, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- High-performance gaming peripherals brand ATTACK SHARK announced today that it is about to launch R5 TURBO. This new generation of flagship wireless gaming mouse has been upgraded in hardware based on R5 ULTRA, supporting dual 8K connections, featuring a design that is more suitable for precise control, and adding new Dune color options, while also offering classic black and white choices available.

ATTACK SHARK, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, stated: "After R5 ULTRA received a strong market response, we have gone even further to bring about higher precision and speed. R5 TURBO reflects our ongoing commitment to providing competitive players with the advantages they need to perform at their best."

R5 TURBO continues the commitment to lightweight and precision-oriented design of ATTACK SHARK, utilizing an injection-molded carbon fiber composite shell. The mouse weighs approximately 43 grams (±3 grams), and through a hollow and breathable design concept, a balance is achieved between structural strength and everyday durability. The outer surface features a glass-like cooling coating to reduce the stickiness caused by hand sweat, providing a smoother and more sensitive feel during extended gaming sessions.

This mouse is equipped with a PixArt PAW3950MAX optical sensor, with a DPI range of 1,200 to 60,000, and supports 50 DPI step adjustments, allowing players to finely tune the sensitivity with extremely high precision. The sensor can achieve a maximum tracking speed of 750 IPS and a 60G acceleration, ensuring smooth and accurate movement on different surfaces. Its three-level LOD (height off the ground) adjustment system also allows for customizing the tracking height according to personal preferences, optimizing control performance for different playing styles.

R5 TURBO adopts the new Nordic nRF54LM20 flagship MCU, which has been upgraded compared to the previous generation nRF54L15. This advanced processor supports both wired and wireless 8KHz polling rates to enhance gaming response times. Internal tests show that the wireless click latency is as low as 0.168 milliseconds. The chip also supports a static scanning frame rate of over 20,000 FPS in competitive mode, while also providing higher energy efficiency and lower heat generation. The enhanced Bluetooth channel sounding technology further improves connection stability and reliability.

Another major highlight of R5 TURBO is the iconic shark fin-shaped 8K wireless receiver ATTACK SHARK. It features an extended antenna design to provide a stronger signal. Three LED indicator lights can display the connection mode, polling rate, and battery level in real time. This mouse supports three modes of connection: wired, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth, allowing players to choose the most suitable method based on their usage environment.

Inside the lightweight body, the R5 TURBO is equipped with a 290mAh high-density automotive-grade battery. Under standard 1K polling rate conditions, the mouse can last up to 300 hours on a single charge, which is sufficient for extended gaming sessions and daily office use.

R5 TURBO has also upgraded its core interactive components. Omron Optical microswitches are rated to withstand over 100 million clicks, providing fast and stable triggering for competitive use. The scroll wheel features a custom electroplating process and a TTC Golden Wheel encoder, resulting in more precise scrolling and better tactile feedback. These improvements are designed to deliver the speed, accuracy, and responsiveness required for high-level gaming.

R5 TURBO also introduces intelligent drive support, providing cloud-based configuration and independent download options. The software can automatically identify connected devices, simplifying the customization of DPI, polling rates, and other support features to match the preferences of different players.

From R5 ULTRA to R5 TURBO, ATTACK SHARK continues to explore the combination of carbon fiber materials, lightweight structures, and high-performance esports technology.

ATTACK SHARK R5 TURBO will be available for purchase starting from October 23, 2026.
