Fireblocks Launches a Liquidity Market, Introducing Streamed Over-the-Counter Quotations into Stablecoin Payments
MoneyGram, OpenPayd, Reap, TapTapSend, and Zepz have joined as design partners.
New York, October 15, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Fireblocks indicates that this enterprise platform, which provides security for trillions of dollars in digital asset transactions, has today launched Fireblocks Liquidity Market, bringing multiple over-the-counter (OTC) liquidity providers into a single trading environment for use by payment companies and other enterprises that buy and sell stablecoins. Customers can request quotes from multiple trading desks, compare them side by side, and utilize their existing business relationships, credit terms, and settlement arrangements with each provider to complete transactions.
MoneyGram, OpenPayd, Reap, TapTapSend, and Zepz have joined as design partners. B2C2 and Zodia Markets were integrated as liquidity providers when the product was launched, and Cumberland, FalconX, GSR, Hercle, Nonco, and Wintermute will also join soon.
According to Fireblocks, in the past 12 months, over-the-counter (OTC) markets and trading firms have transferred nearly $50 billion in stablecoins to payment companies, fintech firms, and banks through Fireblocks Network. The company stated that obtaining such liquidity still mainly relies on manual operations, which require processing through each firm's respective portals, credentials, and integrations. Quotations often become invalid before a comparison can be made, and the team also needs to manually verify credit limits and balances.
Fireblocks Chief Payment and Network Officer Ran Goldi stated: "Payment companies have placed their stablecoin funds on Fireblocks, and most of the trading desks they deal with are also on Fireblocks. The only step that still takes place outside of the platform is price discovery itself, as well as the negotiation and execution through chat and email with each trading desk individually. Incorporating this step into the platform means that all the trading desks they trust can participate in bidding for every transaction and follow the same set of controls and policies that manage the rest of the funds."
Fireblocks indicates that Liquidity Market provides a consolidated view for the team to check the available credit, margin requirements, and balances of all connected trading desks. Transactions can be executed through Fireblocks Console or API, and each transaction is recorded with its corresponding original quote. Fireblocks does not charge any spread. When the product is launched, Liquidity Market will support conversions of all major stablecoins to US dollars, euros, pounds, and other G10 currencies.
Fireblocks states that outside of its platform, each trading desk grants trading permissions separately on their own platforms, and there is no mechanism to uniformly enforce these permissions across different providers. In Liquidity Market, Fireblocks Policy Engine uniformly manages trading limits and execution permissions among all connected trading desks, and both connecting accounts and executing orders require the approval of a legal number of persons. Fireblocks does not get involved in the flow of funds nor does it hold assets during the exchange process. Settlement is completed directly between customers and liquidity providers.
Zodia Markets, co-founder, and Nick Philpott stated: "Payment companies have become one of the most stable sources of trading volume for stablecoins in the market, and they wish to conduct transactions where their funds are already located. Now, Zodia Markets can be used within Fireblocks, allowing them to see our quotes and complete transactions without having to deviate from their existing workflows."
MoneyGram, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Anthony Silva stated: "Given our scale, liquidity depth is of great importance, especially in markets that do not traditionally possess such depth. The ability to mobilize multiple providers simultaneously, rather than relying on a single trading desk, is a way to build resilience in hard-to-reach areas."
OpenPayd Trading Director Richard Usher stated: "In the past, each new trader added meant going through a procurement process and an integration project before seeing the first quote. When a new provider joins Liquidity Market, it appears alongside the trading desks we are already working with. This has changed how many trading counterparts a fast-paced trading desk like ours can continuously incorporate."
Fireblocks indicates that Liquidity Market is now available to Fireblocks customers, and more liquidity providers will join in batches. For more information, please visit fireblocks.com / products / liquiditymarket.
