Texas court dismisses shareholder lawsuit against director of Coinbase

According to CoinMeta, on October 2nd, the Commercial Court of Texas, USA, dismissed a derivative lawsuit filed by shareholder Gary Guillaume against Coinbase's directors. The reason given was that the plaintiff did not submit a written request to the board of directors in advance, and the court did not make a ruling regarding the alleged improper conduct. On October 9th, Brian Armstrong, the CEO of Coinbase, praised this ruling, stating that it encourages more companies to register in Texas.
